The ideal Uva Cellar for us would be one where you just have floating wine bottles. You don't actually see any hardware. Bottles just light up out of nowhere. It's magical. Uva is a beautifully intelligent wine cellar that illuminates your collection.

When you want to pair a wine and you have a big collection, you want to know exactly which wine. You don't want to just grab whatever, because wine paired with the wrong foods will taste bad. So that pairing is so important. For me it was having an app tell you exactly from your collection, your inventory, which wine should I drink for this specific moment.

As you're browsing we can light up exactly your selection, what you're searching for. By French wines, or for specific bottles, drinking window, whatever your search criteria might be. We know exactly where they are, so we can light them up as you're searching for them.

I think a lot of people are curious about wine and want to understand the basics, and we look at Uva as being able to unlock that. We want to teach people little gems of information that they can elevate their knowledge about wine bit by bit by using the Smart Sommelier app. And we want to be the go-to for that, whether it's from a software standpoint or a hardware standpoint. We want to bring more meaning to every single bottle you have in your collection.
